About the project...
Digital Timelines is an Adult Education EU funded project working with social partners including Age UK, Alzheimers Society and lancaster University. The Digital Timelines project began in September 2014 and will run for two years.
The aim of the Digital timelines project is to maintain the quality of life and help people with memory loss or dementia by developing and piloting a training course which will encourage and instruct family and friends, as well as professional carers to create a Personal Digital Memory (PDM) to use as a tool to comfort, support and encourage interaction with the person with memory loss.
The partnership includes partners from the UK, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey and Sweden, and each bring a unique persepctive to the challenge.
