The project achieved the following chronological development steps

•  Research to compare and contrast national VET systems and consider job descriptions from various employers.
•  Formulation of The initial tool of descriptors using the most common elements of these job descriptions as a base.
•  Assignment of initial language competence levels (based on the European common framework)
•  Formulation of statements used in the industry and a glossary.
•  Testing of the initial tool and support documents by VET Teachers of Hospitality with Hospitality students.
•  Feedback from teachers and students and the TOOL of descriptors, and other documents
•  Distribution of the modified descriptors and support documents to employers representing the delivery partner countries.
•  Employer feedback following consideration of the descriptors, language competency levels, and support documents.
•  Proof reading and translation into the partner languages.
•  Production of the final Tool of descriptors, and supporting materials onto a CD.
•  International conference to discuss the topic, and promote the project and the CD.
