Office InterActors

Office InterActors is a Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation project that is developing a vocational educational training model for basic and professional skills in Business & Administration. The focus will be on the transferability of generic skills from study to work and from one work setting to another. The Office InterActors project began in December 2008 and will run until November 2010. It is supported with 75% funding from the European Commission.

To date the project has.........

  • Dec 2008 held a kick off meeting to agree the size and scope of the model and its piloting
  • Feb 2009 Trained staff and developed scenarios for testing with groups of students
  • Sept 2009 Conducted refinements to both product and piloting
  • Oct 2009 Carried out a first round of piloting, evaluated and modified various aspects
  • Feb 2010 Held an International conference to disseminate the project, with further testing
  • May 2010 Carried out a second round of piloting and made further modifications
  • Sept 2010 carried out comprehensive evaluation and agreed parameters for third round of piloting
  • Nov 2010 completed a third round of piloting which focused on usability by SME's

Office InterActors is targeting three distinct groups:

  • Educational / VET professionals interested to include the Office InterActors model in their educational offers
  • Employers and umbrella organisations, interested to invest in the training of their staff, apprentices or new recruits
  • Students studying Business & Administration, recently graduated, employees and would-be employees.
