About the project...
ITAAT is a Grundtvig learning partnership based around sharing good practice within recent IT interventions in the field of adult training (the project partners are from Spain, Lithuania, UK, Romania, Italy, Portugal, Turkey and Poland). DHE Solutions will contribute by demonstrating the various recent technologies it uses with its adult beneficiaries as well as leading on evaluation.
The specific aims of the project were:
- To promote the Lifelong Learning process of teachers and adults.
- To familiarize partners with the different teacher training and adult education systems in each institution's countries.
- To study the comparative ways in which ICT is included both in the management and the teaching-learning processes.
- To study the comparative use of e-Learning and WEB 2.0 technologies in the management and teaching-learning processes
- To study the benefits of the use of Interactive whiteboards in teaching-learning processes.
- To improve working methods in each institution through the comparative analysis and examples of good practice.
- To share the conclusions and good practices via web sites, platforms and a 'Good Practice guide'.
The ITAAT project ran from October 2010 to October 2012 during which time all of the project's aims were accomplished or exceeded.
The successes of the project stand to prove highly beneficial to teachers and trainers of adults as well as adult learners themselves.
